Ingredients

Carrot
1kg
Milk ltr

Fresh cream(malai) small bowl

Mawa small bowl
1
Dry fruits chopped finely small bowl

Green cardamom

Sugar
200gm
Pure ghee
tablespoon 1

Steps

  1. Wash carrot properly in running water, peel off by scratching with knife then grate in a grater.
  2. Heat kadai and pour milk, on boiling add grated carrot, stir it for a while, keep the flame low, cook it openly for 20-25 minutes, stir in between regularly.
  3. Keep the flame on high, add sugar, malai and mawa and stir it continuously, cook for 5-10 minutes on high flame.
  4. Add one spoon pure ghee, cardamom powder and stir it  till it dries up completely, garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits and serve it hot.
  5. It can be kept in fridge for a longer period 8-10 days, before serving put it in a microwave for 30 seconds, it will become hot and fresh.
