Ingredients

Chana dal
200gm
Spinach .
200gm
Garam masala
teaspoon 1
Red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon
Roasted jeera powder
1/2 teaspoon
Cornflour  
tablespoon 2
Green chilli chopped
2
Garlic paste
1 tablespoon
Dry mango powder a
pinch
Small piece of ginger finely chopped
Salt
to taste
Oil to shallow fry

Steps

  1. Soak chana dal in a bowl of water for four hours, cook it in a pressure cooker, add some salt and cook it till three whistles .
  2. Open the lid, drain out the extra water, grind it in a mixer to make thick paste and keep it aside.
  3. Wash spinach properly and boil it for two minutes, drain out water and make a thick paste.
  4. Add spinach paste to chana dal paste which you have made already, mix it well with other ingredients, add cornflour and make small kebabs.
  5. Heat the pan, put oil and shallow fry the kebabs.
  6. Serve it hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
